Hour Of Faith Ministry

Hour Of Faith is a gathering place for prayer of the Ghanaian community from the province of Brescia. I was hosted thanks to Francis Kwabena Azare, vice minister of the community. Francis works in a factory as a laborer in logistics sector. Along with Francis I was greeted kindly by Charles Sarfo Boadi, pastor of the church.
The Mass began immediately with songs with a religious theme that a preacher and a daughter of Francis drove with energy and vigor.
The room became crowded and suffered along with men and women of all ages was filled with children who have made even more cheerful and joyful atmosphere.
In all there were about fifty people, about 13 families.
The ceremony lasted about three hours, with Bible readings alternating sermons and songs, accompanied by a real band of keyboards, bass, drums and percussion. The faithful took turns on stage to sing the songs. Readings and preaching a little ‘in English, the official language of Ghana, and a bit’ in the dialect of Ghana, very difficult to understand (impossible).

do not look backward, look forward … everything go to be all right !!!
These are the words repeated several times during the preaching of Pastor Charles.
Positive words.
Between songs and choruses Mass ended with a blessing to me and Roberto (helped me with the back stage). For which I thank Charles and Francis

Once again a great experience, once again I found a piece of the world near home. Once again, my curiosity pushed me a step further, beyond the prejudices and over the fears of the stupid man.

Special thanks to Francis who gave me this opportunity, to Charles for his hospitality, to Olivia that helped me to understand the words of the preachers and finally to all those man, woman and child who welcomed me with a smile, a handshake and a magic word that we should learn to say more often: WELCOME.
